Ingredients

For the Ham:

1 fully cooked bone-in spiral ham (about 6 to 8 pounds)

For the Orange Honey Glaze:

1 cup packed brown sugar

1 cup honey

½ cup sweet orange marmalade

Optional Flavor Boosters (highly recommended):

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard – for a subtle tangy note

1 teaspoon orange zest – enhances the fresh citrus flavor

A small pinch of ground cinnamon or cloves – for a warm, holiday aroma


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Place the ham cut-side down in a large roasting pan. Cover loosely with foil and set aside.

  3. Make the glaze: In a small saucepan, combine the brown sugar, honey, and orange marmalade. Warm over medium heat, stirring until smooth. Once it begins to bubble, let it simmer for 2–3 minutes, then remove from heat.

  4. Brush or spoon half of the glaze evenly over the ham.

  5. Bake uncovered for 1 hour.

  6. Add remaining glaze over the top and bake for another 15–30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 140°F (60°C) and the glaze is bubbling and caramelized.

  7. Rest the ham for 10–15 minutes before slicing. Serve warm and enjoy!
